We’re taking an educated guess that the Beyhive may be running around in circles with excitement right now, following rumours that Beyoncé is collaborating with Disney on three new films. The excitement is almost too much.

Following the success of the 2019 Lion King remake, where Beyoncé voiced Nala, Disney are reportedly offering Queen B a three-film deal.

According to The Sun, Bey has agreed a $100M deal with the company to work on these new projects, one of these to include the soundtrack for Black Panther 2which is expected to be released in 2021.

“Disney have put forward a deal worth around £80million, which will secure Beyoncé for three major projects, including the Black Panther sequel,” an insider claimed. “Beyoncé has become a major player for Disney and is the perfect fit for their brand.”

The source continued, “She’s worked on a number of projects for them, including voicing Nala in the reboot of The Lion King, and now they’re keen to secure her for more projects.”

“As part of the deal they are also trying to get her team to agree to have Beyoncé voicing some of the new documentaries coming to Disney Plus,” the insider continued. “After the success of having Meghan Markle voicing the film Elephant on the platform, they have projects coming up which align perfectly with Beyoncé’s brand.

“The negotiations are still ongoing but it’s the final details that are being thrashed out now.”

This news is almost too much for a Thursday morning. Beyoncé and Disney collaborating – two of our all-time faves!
