PSA: Here’s The Rumoured Line Up For I’m A Celeb 2020

Yep, it's gonna be good.

When it comes to our regular tv schedule, coronavirus basically wrecked it. No daily soaps (miss you, Eastenders), no Love Island and no football matches either. But one thing that’s still meant to go ahead is I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Thankfully! Although it won’t be exactly as we know it (check out what’s gonna be different here), we’re just happy that it’s gonna be on air, tbh. The bushtucker trials may be the saviour that 2020 needs.

It’s already been rumoured that kween Maura Higgins is going to be heading into the jungle (more on that here), but now even more potential campmate names have been released. Let’s just say we’re awful excited. After they managed to convince Caitlyn Jenner to enter the jungle last year, our hopes were hella high. So without further ado, here’s who else is rumoured to be heading into the jungle.

Carole Baskin

This rumour has been floating around for a while, and we have everything crossed in the hope that it’s true. Apparently, Carole has been offered big money to enter the jungle. We can’t help but think she’ll thrive in there, tbh. *Hey all you cool cats and kittens.*

Jessie J

Everyone, everyone knows who Jessie J is, so we’ll be only delighted to see her in the jungle. We’re also praying that she might even spill some tea on Channing Tatum. Sigh.

Vernon Kay

Tbh, we can’t imagine Vernon Kay in the jungle, but we’re betting it’ll make for good tv. Apparently, he’s been offered a whopping £250,000, and according to The Mirror, an insider said, “Everyone’s so pleased to have Vernon on board, he’s a lovely guy, full of down-to-earth northern charm and perfect for the show.”

AJ Pritchard

Curtis Pritchard’s brother AJ is another celeb rumoured to go into the jungle. Yep, along with Maura (who recently went out with Curtis. Interesting. He recently spoke about I’m A Celeb on The Steph Show, teasing: “Well, let me put it like this, I’ve just cleaned out the loft as my mum has a list of jobs for us to do. The amount of spiders up there, I was screaming my head off. So, if anything like that did happen, it would be hilarious – that’s for sure!”

Paul Merson

Paul, a former England footballer, is another who is in talks to appear on the show. “Paul is really keen to relaunch his TV career and thinks this is the best way to do it after he’s seen what it has done for his mate Harry Redknapp, but he needs it to be worth his while and is negotiating for a top price,” a source told The Sun.

Beverley Callard

There’s always a few soap stars appearing in the jungle year in and year old. And Beverley Callard is certainly up there in soap stardom. Known best for her role as Liz McDonald in Coronation Street, she was the first celebrity to be signed up for this year’s series according to The Mirror.

Charles Ingram

Who can forget the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire scandal? Certainly not us. Charles Ingram was in the hot seat when he won (ahem…) the one million prize on the hit show. Of course, he was then denied the winnings because of cheating accusations, and he’s made his way on to our tv screens since. So why not I’m a Celeb eh?

Eric Cantona

Another football star who’s at the top of the list. The Sun reported that one of the show’s producers stated, ‘I just like the idea of Eric Cantona talking in French and coming up with really profound things. That would be good.’

Tamzin Outhwaite

Another soap legend, Tamzin Outhwaite is best known for her role as Mel Owen in Eastenders. A source told The Sun, ‘It’s early days with Tamzin but she’s someone producers have discussed going to Oz in the autumn — and she’s told pals she is 100 per cent not taking part in Strictly.’

Lucy Fallon

Finally, we have another Corrie star, Lucy Fallon. Initially, Lucy was rumoured to be a favourite for the jungle last year, so 2020 could be her year for, you know, sleeping on the ground in the middle of the jungle and living off rice, beans, and if they’re lucky, kangaroo.
