Remember Dani From Hocus Pocus? This Is What She Looks Like Now

Happy Halloween everybody! We hope you’ve got your pumpkins carved, your costume on and Hocus Pocus ready to watch on TV… And with that in mind, have you ever wondered what little Dani Dennison is up to nowadays?

Actress Thora Birch was just 11 years old when she played the role of Dani in 1993 and she’s grown up a LOT since then. Now aged 35, the actress has a long list of films under her belt, from American Beauty to Ghost World. She’s got gorgeous blonde hair and the same porcelain skin she had as a kid.

In a recent YouTube video, Thora reflects back on her Hocus Pocus days and says, “I was cast as the sassy blonde kid who always had something too smart for her own age to say. I was so thrilled to have been a part of it, to have worked with Bette Midler, and I fell in love with Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker.”

She added that she was surprised the film became the cult phenomenon that it has, because it originally did so badly in the box office. “It came out at an awkward time, it didn’t come out around Halloween. And then 10 years after that, people would come to me like, ‘Hey, are you Dani from Hocus Pocus?’ And I like ‘Wow, it’s got a LONG life!’”
