‘Rest In Peace’: Rosanna Davison Shares Touching Tribute To The Late Hugh Hefner

She was once the cover star of Playboy Magazine.

Rosanna Davison appeared on the cover of Playboy Germany back in 2012, posing topless with nothing but her blonde hair covering her nipples. The former Miss World even met the Playboy boss, Hugh Hefner, at the time and smiled for a photo with him in his infamous Playboy Mansion.

Today, Rosanna has shared a tribute to the 91-year-old who passed away during the night.

Posting a photo of the two of them together, she wrote, “Goodbye to the legendary Hugh Hefner ??  Rest in peace x.”

At the time of publication, Rosanna received criticism for working with a brand that has been accused of exploiting women and their bodies. But she told the Independent, “Posing for Playboy helped me to face my fears and get over my silly insecurities. Now I’m much more confident in myself – I was empowered by doing it.”

She added, “I see posing for Playboy as an honour and now I’ve joined the list of amazing women who have also posed for the publication – Bo Derek, Marilyn Monroe, Charlize Theron, Cindy Crawford to name a few. It certainly didn’t do them any harm. I mean, it’s hardly pornography.”

Hugh is survived by his wife, Crystal, and his four children, Cooper, Christie, Marston, and David.
