Rose Ayling-Ellis And Giovanni Pernice Take Home The Strictly Come Dancing Glitterball

Strictly 2021 has its champions!

Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice have won this series of the dancing competition show making history as Rose is the first deaf winner on the show.

Rose posted an adorable tribute to her professional partner Giovanni on Instagram after the win writing, “I’m dedicating this post to the most wonderful human ever, Giovanni. The person who was there everyday with me for four months, who knows truly what this journey has been for me, the reason why I have become confident within myself.

“He came into my world and brought the best out of me. I cannot thank him enough for all the work and effort to make me become the dancer that I am today. Winning the Glitterball is the best gift I could ever give to Giovanni because he really deserves it.

“I am beyond proud of us. I never thought I would leave Strictly with a best friend for life, thank you Gio 💕”

Giovanni also thanked Rose saying, ” @rose.a.e Dreams do come true if you believe in it .. and that’s what you did super🌟!”

Giovanni was able to secure the big win of the series even after going through a break-up throughout.

Giovanni was dating Irish Love Island star Maura Higgins before the series began. Unfortunately the pair split just days after moving in together and neither have made many comments about the relationship since.

It seems both Maura and Giovanni have thrown themselves into their work, with Giovanni winning the series and Maura being signed to Elite Modelling Agency.
