Rumour Has It Paul Mescal And Harry Styles Are Set To Star In The Same Movie

It's the gift we truly deserve in 2021

In wonderful news, rumours are continuing to circulate surrounding the casting of highly anticipated film My Policeman. 

Both Harry Styles and Emma Corrin, most recognised for her role as Princess Diana on The Crown have been confirmed as the leading roles for the upcoming flick, however, there is still one main role yet to be filled.

The movie is based on the Bethan Robert’s novel of the same title. Set in Brighton during the 1950s, My Policeman is an LGBTQ+ romance , with the plot following the story of a young couple who get caught in a love triangle with an older man, an arrangement that would have been considered highly taboo at that time.

Now rumoured to be playing the older man is Paul Mescal, meaning he will star opposite both Harry and Emma.

The speculation began this week, as Twitter page @filmcrave tweeted:

Although it’s yet to be confirmed by official sources, that didn’t stop Twitter from losing their little minds, with one fan tweeting:

IF PAUL MESCAL IS HARRYS LOVE INTEREST IN MY POLICEMAN I WILL NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ME SCREAMING IN THE CINEMA

And another saying:

ok sorry but if paul mescal plays opposite harry and emma in my policeman i will respectfully never live my life to the fullest again. that would be it for me. that would be the peak of my entire existence.

Other eagle-eyed fans are adding fuel to the fire, after spotting Harry follow Paul on Instagram in the last week.

While we’ll have to wait for official confirmation, we’ll still be spending our time envisioning two of the most delicious men in celeb-land play love interests, it’s the gift we truly deserve in 2021.
