Sabrina The Teenage Witch Is Getting A Reboot And It’s Legit Terrifying

If you loved Sabrina The Teenage Witch as a young one (um, who didn’t?) prepare to have all your fond memories of the show ruined because apparently it’s getting a super creepy reboot. Variety reports that The CW and Warner Bros Television are working on a one-hour drama spin off that will chronicle the adventures of Sabrina.

Unlike the quirky show we loved in the 90s, the new show is said to have a much darker tone, that’s in keeping with the likes of Riverdale and judging by what we’ve seen of the artwork from the comic strip The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina on which it’s based it looks pretty terrifying.

Add to that, it’s said to be “tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist.” Um, yikes.

So far, the show is said to only be in the development phase, so no word on a release date just yet.
