Saoirse Ronan’s Dad Lands A Role In Fair City
The actor set to make his Carrigstown debut in March.
Looks like acting runs in the Ronan family as Saoirse Ronan’s dad Paul Ronan has just joined the cast of Fair City.
Paul Ronan is most well-known for his role in Love/Hate, Ballykissangel and The Tudors and was most recently seen in Striking Out.
Paul will play Harmony’s dad Anto who will debut on the soap on the 6th of March. Fellow Love/Hate actress Neilí Conroy will also join Fair City as Harmony’s mother Sharon.
According to RTÉ , Ronan will make his first appearance in an episode where his character Anto gives Harmony a shock when he turns up in Carrigstown.
Sensing that her dad is hiding something, Harmony is determined to find out the truth.
Over the course of his first week on the show, Ronan’s character will be seen flirting with Carol and endure an explosive reunion with Conroy’s character Sharon.
It’s good news all round for the Ronan family this month, with Saoirse being Oscar nominated three times for her role Lady Bird.
