Sarah Hyland Just Confirmed A Rumour About Modern Family And Fans Are Emotional

Sarah Hyland has played the role of Haley Dunphy in ABC’s Modern Family since 2009 and has won several awards for her performance in the show since then.

Viewers feel like they know her character inside out, almost better than she knows herself, and so much so that one even took to Twitter recently to say, “Haley Dunphy is bisexual!”

Another fan took this tweet and sent it directly to Sarah, asking her to confirm or deny it… and that’s when the 26-year-old actress made the revelation.

“I don’t know what the writers would say,” she wrote on the social media site, “But I confirm.”

Fans have been going wild ever since, saying things like, “This made me tear up a lil, thank you love,” and “Yay! Go Sarah! I’m bi and proud.”
