Selena Gomez Apologises After Fans Claim She Threw Shade At Hailey Bieber

It looks like some Jelena fans just aren’t giving up.

Then Lose You To Love Me singer apologised this week after fans accused her of throwing shade at Hailey Bieber in her recent TikTok.

Earlier this week Hailey posted a get ready with me video doing her skincare and makeup for the day. Not long after Selena posted a skincare routine on her TikTok in which she can be seen rolling her eyes and looking bored.

While there was no actual obvious connection to the model’s video fans jumped into the comments to say Selena was making fun of Hailey…

Selena has turned off comments on the video now, but before she did she clarified to fans that she had no ill-intention when making the video.

“This is why I believe in taking care of your mental health. Guys no idea what I did but I really am sorry. Zero bad intention. Deleting soon,” she wrote.

Selena doesn’t use many social media platforms, admitting to not having the apps on her phone, TikTok seemed to be one that she has been enjoying lately creating lip sync videos. But we have a feeling Selena may pull back after this…

Selena dated Justin Bieber on-and-off from 2010 to 2018 before calling it quits. Justin then began dating Hailey Bieber who he had had dated in 2016 while not with Selena, and the pair got engaged in July of that year.

Ever since, Jelena (Justin and Selena) shippers have been pitting the two women against each other wherever possible.

Recently Hailey begged them to stop on TikTok saying, “Leave me alone at this point. I’m minding my own business, I don’t do anything I don’t say anything, leave me alone please. Enough time has gone by where it’s valid to leave me alone.

“I beg of you truly, that’s my only request leave me alone, be miserable somewhere else, please.”

Hailey captioned the video, “This is for you guys in my comments every single time I post.”

It’s clear that both Selena and Hailey want to leave the past in the past and hopefully they can both continue to enjoy TikTok without being compared with every move they make!
