Selena Gomez Explains Why She Unfollowed Dua Lipa

Selena Gomez is addressing claims that she has a ‘feud’ with Dua Lipa, after she unfollowed her.

Back in June, eagle eyed fans of Selena’s spotted that she had unfollowed the singer on Instagram.

Many rushed to assume that there had been some disagreement between the two, who have met before on different occasions.

The speculation was further fuelled when Selena didn’t address what she had done, leaving people to believe she was being purposefully silent on the matter because there was a valid reason.

Now, three months later, Selena is addressing what happened.

The Come And Get It singer set the record straight in a recent interview with Fast Company.

Talking to the publication about the unfollow, she shared that it was all a simple mistake.

“It was an accident!” she revealed. “I was just cleaning up some of my Instagram. Then somebody called me and was like, “What happened with Dua?!”

So it turns out there was no beef between the pair after all, just an awkward mishap. Poor Selena!
