Shaughna Phillips Is Not A Fan Of The OG Love Island Boys, Calling Them ‘Trash’

When I think of Shaughna Phillips, one phrase comes to mind: ‘Congrats, hun’. It was one of those one-liners that wouldn’t have looked out of place on a t-shirt, and left the viewers looking just like that little shocked emoji that we all know and love.
She’s never been one to hold back, and she’s certainly not holding back now when asked what she thinks of the Love Island 2021 cast.

During an appearance on Love Island: Aftersun, Shaughna was asked to give her opinion on this year’s contestants. “I like Liberty [Poole] but I don’t like the couple Liberty is in,” before adding that she “doesn’t like Jake”.
She was then asked if she would couple up with anyone in the villa at the moment, sharing that newcomer Teddy would be her pick. “Teddy is giving me Ovie [Soko] vibes. He’s cool. He’s calm. All of the originals: trash.” Well, don’t mince your words Shaughna.

If you’re not fully immersed in this year’s Love Island, the original lineup of the boys that Shaughna’s referring to includes Toby Aromolaran, Brad McClelland, Jake Cornish, Hugo Hammond and Aaron Francis.
