Yesterday, former Love Island finalist Siannise Fudge opened up about her mental health struggles and revealed she had been struggling “behind closed doors” leading to weight loss, insomnia and extreme mood swings.
The comments section was flooded with love from her friends family and fellow former Islanders, Molly-Mae Hague wrote, “You should be so proud of yourself beautiful 🤍”, while Maura Higgins said, “Proud of you❤️ and my god you are GLOWING 🔥” and last year’s contestant Faye Winter said, “You’re incredible, and such an inspiration, always remember that 🤍.”
Siannise then took to her Instagram stories to thank everyone for their support, speaking in tears, she said, “I was honestly so petrified to share that. I was literally sat here for half-an-hour thinking am I doing the right thing. And I just know I will be able to help so many of you.”
Continuing she said, “And that’s my goal with all of this but oh my gosh it really was the most hardest time in my life. when I look at that picture I think, I’m just so proud of myself and how far I’ve come because honestly it was literally the worst thing ever. I just want to say that anybody that is going through this or they have gone through it, I can promise you that you will get through it and you will pull through it.
“If I can do it, believe me anyone can, and my DM’s are always open. If there’s anyone out there that is struggling or just wants a bit of advice I’m absolutely here for you.
“I appreciate every single one of you for all of the support already on the post. I love you all so much.”
In a later post, she revealed she was, “speechless at the response” and “eternally grateful” for the kind words of everyone.

“Protecting your peace is the most important. Listen to your body, know that taking time out to take care of yourself is ok & remove anything or anyone who makes you feel negative. If I can come out of this better & stronger than ever, I promise you can & I will help you get there.
“Another reminder to always BE KIND, to not body shame or comment on anyone’s body and to always check in on your family & friends as you never know what’s happening behind closed doors. Never be ashamed of your journey, it’s a part of you. One more thing: remember who the F you are & this world needs you. Let’s all stand together, make a change & empower each other. We got this. Love you all,” she said.
The influencer then gave a special shoutout to her dog Nala who she said was a huge help to her during her dark time.
