Someone Has ALREADY Spotted Creme Eggs For Sale In A Dublin Shop
Stop the world please, we want to get off.
Yes, it’s only four days into 2017. Yes, Christmas Day was a mere ten days ago. Does that mean it’s too early to start thinking about Easter? Apparently not, at least according to Cadbury.
There was a time, a more innocent time, when Creme Eggs were only available for the period directly before and during Easter. Nowadays, they go on sale earlier every year, and remain in stores until at least the late summer*.
Studentย Ailbhe Conroy today spotted the popular Easter-themed treats for sale in her local shop in Dublin 9, and took to Instagram to share the news, posting a snap of boxes full of Creme Eggs with the caption “Christmas is officially over.”
If that wasn’t bad enough, Tesco started selling Easter eggs yesterday. JANUARY 3RD.

Was it for this?
*Plus, you can eat them at any time of year in a box of Miniature Heroes, but that’s a whole other story.
