Squeal! Prince Harry *May* Have Just Received The Queen’s Permission To Ask Meghan To Marry Him

Apparently an engagement is "imminent".

Prince Harry has reportedly asked his grandma, The Queen, for permission to ask Meghan Markle to marry him – and she said yes!

The 32-year-old is reportedly very close to his nan, and would never propose to anyone without running it by her first – plus, it’s the Royal rule.

Speaking to The Star, a source said, “The way it’s going, the engagement will probably happen this year. Harry has got approval from the Queen to propose to Meghan, he’s already had those conversations with Her Majesty. An engagement is imminent.”

With Pippa Middleton due to be married on Saturday, we hope he waits until afterwards to pop the question to Meghan. Imagine the rage if he stole Pippa’s thunder…

Should Meghan say yes – and we assume she will – the couple will be allowed to get married at Westminster Abbey, just like Harry’s mum and brother did.

The fact that Meghan has been married before, divorced, and comes from a Jewish background, meant that there’d be a chance she wouldn’t be allowed to marry in the Church of England. However, the rules changed in 2002, and even further in 2015, so Harry can now legally marry the Suits actress in the historic Gothic church.

We bet he’s delighted.
