Star Of Bridgerton Regé-Jean Page Is The Next Celeb To Host SNL

Regé-Jean Page (aka Simon the Duke of Hastings) is the latest celeb set to host American comedy show, Saturday Night Live.

SNL has seen some fantastic guest hosts over the past year including Adele, Timothée Chalamet, John Kransinki, Kristen Wiig and Justin Bieber.

With a list like that we didn’t think they could top it, but it has just been announced that star of Bridgerton, Regé-Jean Page is set to take the reins for the next episode.

The news was shared on the SNL Instagram with their signature colourful post-its and Regé shared this to his own account captioned; “Saturday Night.”

It’s quite the honour to guest host the show but after seeing some of the behind-the-scenes clips of Regé filming Bridgerton we just know his sense of humour will work perfectly.

It also comes as no surprise that SNL would invite him on as the success of Bridgerton has been unparalleled.

The hit period drama has amassed an incredible 82 million streams since it aired in December, smashing all previous records, also making it Netflix’s top streamed show.

Now, we just have to wonder if his famous spoon will also be making an appearance?
