David and Victoria Beckham have apparently just signed one serious contact with Netflix – a $16 million mega deal.

It’s reported that the pair, alongside appearances from their children, will star in a Netflix docu-series, following their lives and giving us a real “fly on the wall” look into the footballer’s career, from his early life to juggling fame and work, as well as becoming a husband and a father.

The documentary is said to show a different side to the Beckhams, focusing on never-before-seen footage, David’s rise to football legend status, as well as cameos from other sporting stars including Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville.

“David’s family are all massive archivers; they’ve been proudly documenting his career since he was a boy and have kept all the old local newspaper cuttings, school records and team photos throughout the years.

“Needless to say, David is bound to come off brilliantly while viewers will get to see Victoria’s quick wit,” a source told The Sun.

Victoria and children, Brooklyn, 21, Romeo, 18, Cruz, 15, and daughter Harper nine will give interviews in the series, talking about their relationship with David, as well as the 45-year-old discussing his relationship with his father, Ted, with footage of their playing football together.

The docu-series is rumoured to follow David at present too, as he sets up his Studio 99 media and production company – a production company who are set to produce the work alongside Netflix.

In terms of dates for release, it’s looking like 2022 for this project, with filming not off the ground yet, but exciting times all the same.
