Adam Driver and Lady Gaga, the match made in movie heaven that we didn’t realise we needed until Tuesday evening.

That was the day when Lady Gaga gave us all a little pick me up by releasing the first snap of herself alongside Adam Driver on set for their new movie, House Of Gucci.

The pair, clad in ski gear, told us with one – now viral meme image – that  ‘winter isn’t over until we say so b*tches, as they posed picture perfect in the Italian Alps.

Big sweater energy, amirite?

The movie, which is a tragic, true-crime flick, follows husband and wife, Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) and Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) as they turn victim and murder a couple years following their split. It turns out that Patrizia Reggiani organised a hitman to kill her 46-year-old ex husband and Gucci heir in his Milan office, giving her the nickname the ‘Black Widow’.

In the 90s the trial was a media spectacle, full of surprising twists and tuns that apparently nobody saw coming.

Having been sentenced to 29 years in prison, Patrizia Reggiani was released from jail in 2014 and apparently, still had no remorse towards the husband who she organised to be murdered.

Apparently, at the time when she was leaving jail, a reporter asked Patrizia why she didn’t kill him herself to which she responded:

“My eyesight is not so good. I didn’t want to miss,” wild – we know. You can read that report here.

We also know that this hotly anticipated drama which will see history being reborn will be directed by Ridley Scott who has been trying to get this production off the ground for years now. With different names circulating to play the leads, it was confirmed in 2019 that Driver and Gaga would take centre stage.

The movie is also based on Sara Gay Forden’s book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.

Currently still in production with the cast still filming and Lady Gaga seen doting over Adam Driver, feeding him a snack: cute pics here – it’s unsure as to when we’ll get more deets on the movie, but we do know it’s currently slated for a November release Stateside.

Roll it on says us, we cannot wait.
