Fitzy’s Parents ‘Nervous’ As Son Enters Love Island Villa

Fitzy has been getting busy in the Love Island villa. 

Well, it’s actually only been like a day so not a whole lot has happened yet, but we’re sure the Galway man will have plenty of time to become embroiled in plenty of drama over the next few weeks.

Sean’s sister Katie has been chatting about watching her brother on the show, and she has said that she was a “ball of nerves” tuning in for the launch.

Her parents were, of course, nervous watching their son on the show too.

“They’re nervous, they watched it for the first time ever, and they enjoyed it, to be fair,” she told Ireland AM this week “They thought he came across really well and natural.”

Katie added that her brother hasn’t really had the time to let his personality shine yet.

“You can really see his personality on TikTok, and I feel like so far in last night’s episode, he didn’t really show that side of him yet. But hopefully now in the next couple of episodes,” she said.

Fitzy is best known for his TikToks where he dances around, makes skits about being a teacher, and chats about the Leaving Cert, sometimes.

He also said last year that he would dye his hair blonde if he got 20k likes on a video. As you can probably guess, he did.

“Loads of people like it, he got it done last year and loads of people liked it, so he had to do what people liked,” Katie said, explaining Fitzy’s do.

Katie also said that she’s liking her brother and Lola together so far, but that it’s still early days.

“I really like her, I feel like so far she’s coming across quite shy, but hopefully in the next couple of episodes she will kind of come out of her comfort zone and stuff,” she said.

“I think she might calm Sean down a bit sometimes because he’s a bit mad!”
