Love Island’s Curtis: ‘I’m Happy To Show My Emotions’

Curtis Pritchard has been chatting about his third and most recent stint on Love Island – and most notably, his feelings for Millie Grace Court.

Curtis was coupled up with Millie when villa USA kicked off, only to lose her to USA islander Zac.

When the pair returned to the main villa Curtis was visibly upsets to see that Millie had moved on, so much so that he had a bit of a cry when he learned that things weren’t going to go any further between them.

Curtis has been chatting about his feelings for Millie since leaving the villa, and most importantly, why he’s not afraid to show his emotions.

“I literally went in there with no walls up, no nothing and just to open myself up and go with the flow,” he told The Morning After podcast after being dumped from Love Island. “Mills, I won’t lie, she caught me off-guard.

“Do you know when you like someone? I was sort of scared of pushing her away because I thought ‘I’m gonna be myself 100%’. I ended up being myself 100% and I ended up pushing her away a little bit.

“So in one way I was a little bit like, ‘Crap, I’ve done what I said I didn’t want to do’. [But] in another way, I feel so comfortable in myself that I’m happy to show my emotions. If I’m feeling upset, I’ll happily cry, it is what it is.”

Fair play, Curtis.

It’s important to show your emotions, especially as a man, and Curtis isn’t the only one who’s been doing it in the villa this year.

Tommy has also been upset on Love Island this year, and hasn’t been afraid to show his more vulnerable side.

After Sean started getting to know Lucinda he felt betrayed. While also feeling like there was nobody for him in the villa, he opened up to the boys on multiple occasions on how he was feeling.
