The Den Is Hosting A Christmas Special This Weekend With Some Celebrity Faces

A fabulous lineup on the show this Sunday.

Since November 8th, we’ve been thrilled to have The Den back on our screens after a very long hiatus.

Bringing us right back to our childhood, Ray Darcy, Zig and Zag, and of course, Dustin The Turkey have been lighting up our Sunday evenings with their comical and wholesome slot on RTÉ One.

Now, for their last show before Christmas, the boys are pulling out all the stops to create one cracker of a festive special.

While raising money for some important causes, the gang will be joined by a whole host of celebrity faces.

Starting off the lineup includes Mundy and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra who have teamed up with Zig and Zag for a special recording.

The boys have also been back in the recording studio themselves, releasing another Christmas special, 30 years after their last one. All proceeds for this will go to two incredible charities – Childhood Cancer Foundation Ireland and Cancer Fund for Children.

Aside from that, Star Warlegend Mark Hamill and Derry Girls’ Nicola Coughlan will also be joining The Den this weekend, with Nicola noting it as a “childhood dream”, I mean, we’re right there with you.

All this wholesomeness and more, RTÉ One, 6:30pm, Sunday December 20.
