This Noughties Nickelodeon Show Is Making A Comeback With The OG Cast

And no, we're not talking about Zoey 101 this time.

The year is 2007, you’ve just come home from school and you’re watching TV before doing your homework. Dinner is cooking and you’re chilling out watching your favourite daytime Nickelodeon show – life is sweet.

Life really was sweet then.

First of all, TV was deadly. I know I sound like my parents saying this but they really don’t “make those shows like they used to”, between Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place, to Nickelodeon’s Fairly Odd Parents, iCarly and, Drake and Josh – we had it good.

So, you’ll be thrillt to know one of those shows is returning. Now, we know Zoey 101 is in and out of reprisal talks (read more here), but another Nickelodeon show is getting the green light for a return. Yes, iCarly is coming back.

Miranda Cosgrove is said to be reprising her role as Carly Shay for the Nickelodeon comedy which originally ran from 2007 to 2012.

Joining Miranda in reprising her role, stars Jerry Trainor (Spencer Shay) and Nathan Kress (Freddie Benson) are also set to return according to Deadline.

Having been nominated for many an award, it’s going to be exciting to see how iCarly will be picked back up. The last time the series was on air, Miranda was only a teenager and the show followed her trying to make it as a budding web sensation.

As we all know, the internet and social media has changed a lot since then, so we feel her return could be very Emily In Paris-esque, showing her as a grown up Instagram sensation.

Who knows, but we’re for sure excited.

No air dates have yet been released detailing more about the show.
