Tempted? This Dublin Bakery’s ‘Weed Doughnuts’ Are Causing A Stir On Instagram

Aungier Danger on Dublin’s Aungier St is known for its Zeitgeist-y doughnut themes.

But today, the bakery has gone all out, whipping up a batch of ‘Weed’ doughnuts in honour of the Medicinal Cannabis Summit, taking place at Smock Alley Theatre today.

“STRICTLY OVER 18’s** For the guys at the Dublin summit discussing the legalisation of medicinal #Marijuana… This is for you,” the bakery wrote alongside an image of the doughnuts on Instagram and Facebook just now.

“EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK (peanut butter orea smash with a very special secret ingredient #nojoke ) super limited edition available in Aungier Street only today until sold out. #riskybusiness #AungierDanger#freetheweed #prochoice ️#therealdeal.”

Before you get too excited though, STELLAR.ie spoke with the folks at Aungier Danger just now who assured us that the “secret ingredient” was in fact not weed, but extra peanut butter.

“We wouldn’t be that stupid,” the spokesperson said.

That won’t stop us going over to check them out for ourselves. Any excuse to eat a doughtnut, like…
