The Golden Girls Is Coming To Disney+

Fans of hit 1980s sitcom The Golden Girls can rejoice, as all 7 seasons of the hilarious show are set to be added to streaming service Disney+.

Perfect for the nostalgic among us, the comfort sitcom will be added to the service next month, on July 2nd.

Once again, we can debate over whether we’re more of a Blanche or Rose as we watch the ladies in their prime get up to all sorts of mischief and adventures. For those of you unfamiliar with the show, think Sex And The City and Girls, but set 30 years later.

Set in Florida, Miami, it shows four older women who share a friendship and a home, as they navigate their lives together. Each character has their own personality, with Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia the main gals all spitting out some classic one-liners.

There are around 180 episodes of the show, meaning your viewing material is sorted for the next while at least once it lands.

Since launching their Star service, Disney+ has added an array of series and sitcoms to their arsenal, including Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family, and now The Golden Girls too.

The service also have plenty of exciting new bits landing over the month of June too, including new episodes of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Gordon Ramsay’s Unchartered, and season six of Running Wild With Bear Grylls.
