On Sunday, the Limerick hurling team proved themselves victorious once again after a historic All Ireland win saw them beat Cork in the 2021 final.
Celebrating on the pitch after the win and really soaking in the moment they had been training so hard for, the players were then joined by friends and family who congratulated them, including the very tiny members.
Joining players Barry Hennessy, Graeme Mulcahy, Nickie Quaid and selector Paul Kinnerk were their babies, Hope, Rosie, Daithi and Enya.
Smiling for a photo on the pitch at Croke Park, this was a very special moment for the players and teammates who got to mark this historic day with their little ones.
Snapped by Brendan Moran for Sportsfile, it was all smiles and it’s safe to say the country all instantly fell in love.
I tell you, Limerick have youth on their side!

The youngest of the lot was Hope, the daughter to player Barry Hennessy and his wife Elaine, who welcomed the little girl into the world just four weeks ago.
Wearing earmuffs to protect them from the noise, fans, spectators and those watching the game on telly were quick to take to Twitter to share their love for the players and their babies.
