The Lineup For This Year’s Grammy Awards Is A Total Dream

Definitely worth a watch!

Over the years, The Grammys has produced some truly amazing moments. From Lady Gaga’s 2011 performance of Born This Way which saw her hatch out of an egg and dance in yoke coloured latex, Taylor Swift’s stripped-back powerful 2014 performance of All Too Well, to literally any of Beyonce’s Grammy performances (but her 2010 mash-up of If I Were A Boy with Alanis Morissette’ You Oughta Know was utter perfection)

But this year’s Grammys might just be the most iconic yet. As they have secured some of the biggest names in music. Including Olivia Rodrigo, who had one of the biggest albums of 2021 with Sour. Giving us sensational hits like Drivers Licence, Déjà Vu, and Good 4 U. Olivia also received her first Grammy nominations this year.

Being nominated for Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Song of the Year for Drivers Licence, along with a whole host of other nominations. So it’s set to be a massive night for her.

Also, taking to the Grammy stage is BTS. As the biggest boyband around, their performance is already hotly anticipated, but especially after their sensational 2020 performance at the awards. Not only will they be performing, but they are also nominated for Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance for Butter.

Seven-time Grammy award winner Billie Eilish is also going to be performing at this year’s show. Billie has already performed at the awards twice, so she is a veteran at this point. She is also nominated for Album of the Year for Happier Than Ever, Song of the Year, and many more.

Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow will also be performing on the Grammy stage this year. Presumabley with their song Industry Baby, but it is the Grammys, so anything could happen. Lil Nas X is also a nominee this year, being nominated for Album of the Year with Montero, Song of the Year for Montero (Call Me By Your Name) and more. https://www.instagram.com/p/CWoFLVmJ82w/

Also taking to the stage is American country star Brandi Carlile, as is American country duo, Brothers Osborne. So it is certainly set to be an exciting night.

This year’s show will take place on the 3rd of April and be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah.
