The Most Gas Reactions To Last Night’s Great British Bake Off
It was an absolute rollercoaster
The return of The Great British Bake Off is the literal antidote to the hellscape that is 2020. One of the only things bringing us true joy right now, if you’re a fan of the show then you’ll know that not only is watching the show part of the GBBO experience, so is seeing all of the Twitter reactions to it too.
Last night was 80s, and saw the wannabe bakers tackle a number of (frankly cruel) nostalgic bakes. Kicking things off with quiches, moving on to finger doughnuts, and ending with ice cream cakes on one of the hottest days in the UK’s history, of course, meant that there was a fair few lols going on, all at the contestant’s expense – soz guys!
Firstly, and most shockingly baby faced Peter felt the need to remind us that he was born in the year 2000 (!!!)

There were plenty of innuendos going around and general gas-ness when it came to the signature bake and technical challenge.

I thought the presidential election would be the most stressful thing I’d watch tonight. Turns it was actually Hermine trying to cook a quiche in twenty seconds #gbbo

And then of course there was the showstopper, which sent all of our blood pressures soaring, and we, unfortunately, had to wave goodbye to Lottie.
