There Are Conflicting Reports About Why Kanye Was Admitted To Hospital For ‘Psychiatric Evaluation’ Last Night

Yesterday brought the shock news that Kanye West had pulled the plug on the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour, and this morning it’s been revealed the rapper has been admitted to hospital for ‘psychiatric evaluation.’

What’s unclear is what exactly happened in the hours leading up to his admittance.

Sources close to Kanye initially said that both LAPD and paramedic teams responded to an emergency services call on Monday afternoon, but when they arrived at the rappers’ home, he wasn’t there.

TMZ refutes this and claims that when paramedics arrived at Kanye’s house they found that the rapper was severely sleep deprived and treated him on the scene, before concluding that he needed to be placed “under observation” at the UCLA Medical Center.

However, it’s since been reported that Kanye was actually at his trainer’s home at the time of the incident, where medical officials found him “acting erratically.”

Another source, The Los Angeles Times, claims there was a 911 call made to the fire department from Kanye’s home.

The news follows the rapper’s onstage outburst during one of his Saint Pablo tour gigs on Saturday night, where he blasted Jay Z and Beyonce before cutting the show short.

Speaking of Kanye’s reasons for leaving early and later cancelling the rest of his tour, Kris Jenner told Extra “He’s exhausted, he’s just really tired. He’s had a gruelling tour and it’s been a grind so he just needs some rest.”

Since being admitted, it’s thought that Kim has rushed to the hospital to be by her husband’s side.
