This Adorable Dad Gave Out Sweets On A Flight Last Night So His Toddler Could Trick Or Treat
'If you're willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please pass this in her basket.'
Remember how important Halloween was when you were a kid? Aside from Christmas and your birthday, it was the only day of the year when you were legitimately allowed, nay, encouraged, to stuff your face with sweets. All while wearing an epic costume fashioned out of bin bags and glitter. The dream.
So when one father had to bring his three-year-old daughter on a long-haul flight last night, he knew he’d have to come up with some kind of alternative to allow her to get her trick-or-treat on.
His solution? Allow her to dress up for the flight and trick-or-treat her way down the aisles. GENIUS.
“OMG, my heart is exploding right now. Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat,” passenger Stephanie Kahan tweeted last night on her flight from San Francisco to Boston, alongside a picture of a note printed on an envelope.

“My three-year-old daughter Molly was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight…. so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her,” the note read. “If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please pass this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, please pass this back to me.”
How sweet?! And here’s Molly The Donut in action:
By the time Stephanie’s flight landed earlier this morning, her tweet had already gone viral, with over 46,000 retweets. A very happy Halloween indeed.
