This Bride And Groom Invited 1,100 Cats To Their Wedding, Because CATS
Well that's one way to make your big day purr-fect.
As you’ll know if you’re married, engaged or within a one mile radius of someone organising a wedding, guest lists can be tough.
There are the school friends. The work pals. The we-did-our-J1-together-but-haven’t-spoken-in-five-years gang. Your mam’s friends. Your mam’s frenemies. The list goes on.
But one couple put aside all of the human guest lists politics in favour of an altogether fluffier affair – a wedding attended by 1,100 cats.
French-Canadian couple Dominic Husson and Louise Véronneau adore felines so much that they decided to host their wedding at California’s Cat House On The Kings, a no-kill, no-cage sanctuary.
The pair, who describe themselves as “animal lovers” (if you hadn’t guessed) tied the knot in front of friends, family, and over a thousand of the sanctuary’s unhomed cats.
“These are the basics of our relation[ship] — our love for animals,” Louise told NBC News.
We’re guessing Louise didn’t mind a wedding dress covered in cat hairs, so…
