Enemies turned friends, perhaps?

Honestly, it feels like the news of And Just Like That, the SATC reboot, has been around for so long that it’s almost as if it’s just not happening. We’re getting snippets here and there, but we’re still waiting ever so patiently to see it in action.
We already know plenty about it: for instance that Kim Cattrall won’t be reprising the role of the iconic Samantha. Which I’m still not exactly over. Speaking to The Guardian about the return of Samantha, Kim revealed: “I went past the finish line playing Samantha Jones because I loved Sex and the City. It was a blessing in so many ways, but after the second movie, I’d had enough. I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t just replace me with another actress instead of wasting time bullying. No means no.”
Okay, fair. Good for her.

We also know that Willie Garson was set to return to play the beloved Stanford Blatch, but he sadly passed away last month.
It’s unclear exactly what he filmed beforehand, but we’re hoping there’ll be a gorgeous tribute to him in the show.
Other characters are also making a return, including Mr Big, Steve, Harry and Anthony.
On the other hand, one person who is making a quite unexpected return is none other than Natasha, played by Bridget Moynahan. Yeppppp.

Bridget was spotted on the set, and honestly, it could mean so many things. Has Big turned around and cheated on Carrie with Natasha? Have Natasha and Carrie moved on and are now friends? I have so many questions.
But one thing is for absolute certain, Natasha didn’t deserve the broken tooth after falling down the stairs while chasing Carrie. It was Carrie that was in the wrong after all, but that’s another story for another day.

In other news, Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramírez has also joined the cast. According to Deadline, Sara will play Che Diaz, a non-binary stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast and has Carrie on regularly as a frequent guest. They’ve been described as “a big presence with a big heart.”
While we don’t have any exact air date for And Just Like That, we do know that it will air on HBO in December. So fingers crossed, it won’t take much longer to air on our screens.
