This Irish Destination Made The List Of Top 10 Rated Airbnb Locations Across The World

A popular staycation spot, was it in one of your searches?

With the ability to travel overseas slowly returning and staycations in full swing, it’s no wonder that recent findings show searches on Airbnb have rocketed by more than 52% since restrictions have started to ease across the world.

With more people determined to get away and travel after a long year and a half at home, it’s clear that some places are more poplar than others, as new findings have revealed the top 10 highest rated Airbnb locations. And there’s a popular Irish destination coming in third place.

With data collected from, and utilising Forbes’ bucket list of the top 50 places in the world to visit (based on a survey of 1.5million people), researchers looked at each destination on Airbnb and the review score to create an overall average and rank the highest rated locations across the world.

So, what locations prove most popular and highly ranked with holidaymakers?

Coming in the first place is Waikato, New Zealand, shortly followed by Beijing, China and in third place across the globe is one of Ireland’s most popular tourist destinations, home to Torc waterfall, Carrauntoohil mountain and the Gap of Dunloe is… Kerry, of course.
