At least 50 people have been killed and more than 400 others injured after a gun attack in Las Vegas, which took place shortly after 10pm local time. It’s been described as the worst mass shooting in American history.
A lone gunman, named Stephen Paddock, fired bullets from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel down to the ground where approximately 40,000 holiday makers were enjoying a harvest country musical festival. The 64-year-old shooter was found dead in his hotel room by Las Vegas PD, reportedly surrounded by at least 10 guns.
