Only Murders in the Building just premiered this Autumn, but the show is such a smash that a second season is already on the way. And we mean on the way, as in somehow they’re already filming.
While it’s known for its brilliant mix of comedy and mystery and downright hilarious take on true-crime obsession. It’s also pretty well known for its frankly star-studded cast.
With Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Amy Ryan, all in starring roles. Not to mention guest appearances from Tina Fey, Adriane Lenox, Jane Lynch, and Sting. The show definitely has some star power behind it.
And that star power is set to expand with the newest cast member Cara Delevingne.

The Hollywood Reporter announced that Cara will be joining the main cast as Alice, a “sophisticated art world insider” who will become obsessed with The Arconia’s murder mysteries.
Cara should feel totally comfortable unset as despite starting her career as a model, she has plenty of acting work under her belt, including Paper Towns, Suicide Squad, and the 2012 film adaptation of Anna Karenina.
Of course, if there are any nerves, it will definitely help to have bestie Selena Gomez on set with her. Cara and Selena have been friends since around 2014, when they met through none other than Taylor Swift. They even starred in Taylor’s Bad Blood music video together.
So this isn’t even their first acting project together.

Focusing on former 80’s telly star Charles-Haden Savage, played by Steve, Broadway director Oliver Putnam, played by Martin, and Mabel Mora, who is refurbishing her aunt’s apartment, played by Selena. The trio decided to solve the mystery and create a true-crime style podcast about the findings.
Season 1 is available on Disney+, and season 2 will be arriving in 2022.
