This Popular Irish Blogger Is Quitting Her Job To Take On Blogging Full-Time

Louise Cooney is one of Ireland’s most popular bloggers, covering everything on her site from fashion to travel. Now, the 24-year-old is giving up her job to go into the blogging business full-time.

Taking to Snapchat, the Limerick-native said, “I wanted to come on and tell you some news about next week. I kind of have been dropping hints.

“I have a really big, important day this week – well basically from Wednesday I’m not going to be working full-time anymore, I am giving up my job and I’m going to go full-time blogging.”

“It’s probably not the biggest news in the world but for me it’s really big. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for ages and it’s going to change my life a lot so I’m really excited.”“I just feel like I’ve splitting myself between blogging and work for ages,” Louise continued, before adding, “Oh God, I’m getting emotional.

“I just can’t keep going not giving either all my attention because it’s just too stressful, it’s too hard. The last few months I’ve just been so stressed and it’s taken the enjoyment out of it for me which I don’t want.

“So as scary as it is I’m just going to do it, I’m going to do it for a while and see how it goes. It’s just a totally different career but I’m so lucky to be in a position where I can do something that I really love full-time. If I don’t try, I won’t know.

“The next couple of months are going to be a big change but I’m so excited now. I’ll have a tough few days of packing up my stuff and saying goodbye first though, so we gotta get through those.”

With almost 60,000 followers on Instagram alone, Louise shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
