Whenever there’s worldwide news, it seems there’s always at least one celeb who decides to have their say on the matter, and leaves us rolling our eyes and shaking our heads. Right now, it’s Vanessa Hudgen’s turn. Who’d have thought it, eh?
Taking to Instagram Live to complain about the US response to the pandemic, she responded to the potential lockdown time, saying “Umm, yeah, ’til July sounds like a bunch of bulls**t.” She then continued, “I’m sorry, but like, it’s a virus, I get it, like, I respect it, but at the same time I’m like, even if everybody gets it, like yeah, people are going to die, which is terrible but like, inevitable?”
When you tweet a video and end it with “maybe I shouldn’t be saying this” that’s normally a sign that you shouldn’t #VanessaHudgens #COVID19 pic.twitter.com/C9vWYmFTqa

It’s safe to say that people were not happy with the HSM star’s response, with followers describing her comments as “horrible” and “heartless”.
Since then, Vanessa has of course taken to her IG stories again with a bit of explaining to do. “I did an Instagram live and I realise today that some of my comments are being taken out of context. It’s a crazy time, a crazy crazy time and I am at home and in lockdown. And that’s what I hope you guys are doing too, in full quarantine and staying safe and sane.”
She then continued to say, “I don’t take this situation lightly, by any means, I am home, So stay inside y’all.”
