We Have A Release Date For Lindsay Lohan’s Netflix Movie

It’s the moment we’ve been waiting for, Lindsay Lohan’s comeback – and we are so ready.

The Mean Girls star has been away from the big screen for quite some time now, and is ready to come back with a bang this Christmas.

We now have a release date for her first project with Netflix, which will be a Christmas romance movie, is there any better genre?!

Sharing a picture for Falling For Christmas on Instagram on October third, yes, Mean Girls day! Lindsay and Netflix referenced her classic teen movie while promoting her new one with the caption reading, “it’s October 3rd. now mark your calendars for November 10th. 🎄”

Lindsay’s Mean Girls co-star Jonathan Bennett commented on the post saying, “What day is it?”, the iconic line from Mean Girls that cemented October third as a holiday for the fans. We love seeing the cast still referencing the film!

So, the film will be out on November tenth, that is time enough for Christmas movies, right…?

According to Logline Lindsay will play “newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress”, who gets amnesia in an accident, and “finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.”

This sounds like the perfect amount of Christmas cheese to grab a cuppa and curl up in front of the fire with.

This is the first in a string of Netflix films Lindsay has signed on for as part of her return to acting. The star even filmed another Netflix rom-com in Ireland this year, reportedly titled Irish Wish.

Since it is already in production, we’re hoping we won’t have too long to wait for her next project. Something tells us her new films are going to be essentials for a cosy night in.
