What A Hero! Tom Hardy Helps To Re-Home Abandoned Puppies In London

They were found in a box in a public park.

Not that we needed another reason to fall head-over-heels in love with Tom Hardy, but the actor’s recent charitable efforts have hit us right in the feels.

The 40-year-old is passionate about animal welfare and a quick scroll through his Instagram will show you *just* how much of a dog lover he is. That being said, it comes as no surprise that he’s trying to re-home a litter of abandoned puppies that were found in a local park.

He posted a photo of the Staffordshire Terriers on Instagram and captioned it, “New Staffies found and brought to Battersea [dog home] this a.m. in a box found in park. Look at them. I want to house them all. 8 weeks old. Go see them xxx.”

Tom lives really close to the rehoming centre in Battersea and often visits to “hang out and give the dogs a cuddle.”

Check out this video of one such visit, but FYI, you may need a tissue… #Sobbing.
