Why Were Kourtney And Travis At The Oscars?

There was actually a very fair reason for their attendance

One of our favourite things to do after any major red carpet event is dissect who showed up with who and wearing what, and last night’s Oscar show was an absolute treat for the eyes.

Some attendees in particular who caught out eye was it-couple Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Scott, who rocked their signature all-black look on the red carpet. But, it isn’t so much their look that had people talking, but the fact that they were actually present instead.

The Academy Awards or as they’re more popularly known, The Oscars, are an awards show for artistic and technical merit in the film industry. Each year, we see the biggest names in Hollywood glam up and accept awards, so for many, Kravis felt a little out of place.

But, as it turns out there’s a pretty obvious reason Travis and Kourtney were there. Later on in the night eagle-eyed fans may have spotted Travis on stage, performing drums amongst the All-Star Band. He was there alongside with Robert Glasper, Sheila E., and music director Adam Blackstone.

Now it all makes perfect sense.

And sister Kim was in full support of the pair strutting the red carpet, sharing a snap of the two which she called ‘iconic’, which is v true. It’s not every day a reality TV star and 00s icon show up at the Oscars!
