Things not working out with your other half? Maybe you’re thinking about taking the coward’s way out? If sending a sly text message seems like too much effort, you can now break up via smartphone app.

That’s right, your phone can do the dirty work for you.

Created by Tennent’s Lager, the Binder app’s creators say, “the internet has made it super easy to find the special someone. Binder makes it just as easy to get rid of them too. With one swipe we take out all the pain of chucking your other half.” #Harsh.

So how does it work?

It’s pretty simple. You select the gender of the person you’d like to bin off, input their name and phone number and (optionally) upload a photo of them. Next up, enter your reason for kicking them to the kerb, hit send and you’re done.

The result? Your ex will receive a text message and a voicemail notifying them of your intention to break up. And if you’ve more than one poor sod to bin off, you can also use the app’s multiple breakup function.

We’ve gotta admit; it seems like a fairly efficient, if a little harsh, way to end a relationship.
