You Need To See Inside Hilary Duff’s Unusual LA Home

One of our favourite pastimes is snooping around celeb homes. It’s not often that they open up their doors to us, and when they do it’s usually in the form of a perfectly preened Instagram post. But sometimes, just sometimes, we’ll get lucky and an A-lister will give us a video tour of their home, giving us the best peek around possible.

In an interview with Architectural Digest actress Hilary Duff gave a look inside her LA family home, and it may just be one of the best celeb homes we’ve seen yet.

From neon signs scattered around everywhere to a pink bathroom, we did not quite expect Hilary’s home to be so… out there. But, thankfully, it is! We thought we’d give you a room-by-room tour of the home, because frankly, it’s the least it deserves.

The Entrance 

“A sunny vibe radiates through every room of the Duff household, a feeling curated across two renovations of the space in the past 8 years,” the home’s description reads. The entrance of Hilary’s home is a salmon-pink barn-style door, opening up to her entrance hallway. In the hallway a grand winding staricase leading upstairs can be seen, along with some neutral toned furniture.

The Living Room 

The area that Hilary says the family spends the most time. Although it looks preened to perfection in the video, Hilary admits that it almost never looks so polished, she says that there’s usually children’s toys thrown everywhere and dogs running around.

The Kitchen 

The open plan living area encompasses the living room, the kitchen, and the dining room. With each boasting a different vibe to break up the area.

The Lounge 

Things start to get particuarly fun in the lounge area seperate from the living room. With pops of colours like the above orange chairs and wicker finishings, and a giant cactus.

Her Daughter’s Bathtroom 

Although still just a baby, Hilary’s daughter, Banks has her own onsuite, with a vanity! Oh, and the whole room is pink too!

The Slide!!

Hilary says in the video that she wanted to make her son’s room a fun and playful space, ans so decided to add a slide into the structure of the room.
