Yup, 2 More Fool Me Once-Esque Series Are Coming

A big day for the masses.

Netflix

Do you like mysteries? Do you like Michelle Keegan? Do you like TV shows that have wild endings that don’t really make sense but still rake in millions of viewers?

Then you’re probably a Harlan Coben fan.

The thriller writer’s latest adaptation, Fool Me Once, has been dominating Netflix screens since it first dropped on New Year’s Day.

The series, starring the aforementioned Keegan and Richard Armitage, follows ex-soldier Maya, who one day sees her ‘murdered’ husband appear on a nanny cam.

So ensues a mystery that spans deep into the past, allowing Maya to uncover far more than she bargained for – and a reveal that will leave you fairly speechless. And scratching your head.

Netflix

The series surpassed 61 million views globally in its first two weeks of being on the platform – so it’d make sense that Netflix have just announced two more Coben adaptations off the back of its success.

The first is Run Away, the story of a man whose perfect life is thrown into disarray when his daughter shows up high in a park after going missing. The second is Missing You, which follows a detective who gets roped into a potential romance scam that could be related to her father’s death.

Coben told RadioTimes.com that he’s hoping to secure one release per year going forward.

“We skipped last year but we’d love to try doing it where we have that New Year’s Day release for everybody, they can watch us hungover and we can join them in the new year,” he said.

“We’re doing one right now in Poland based off my book Just One Look, we’re filming and Netflix Poland is working on it. [We’re] also working on one in South America, believe it or not.”

You won’t be able to move for Coben adaptations, sure.
