Zendaya Opens Up About Keeping Her Relationship With Tom Holland Private

An iconic couple, if we ever saw one!

Zendaya has opened up about keeping her relationship with long term boyfriend Tom Holland private.

The couple who are notoriously private when it comes to their relationship, began dating back in 2017.

In an interview with US Elle released earlier this week, Zendaya finally opened up about why she keeps their relationship private.

The 26-year-old revealed that she has “accepted” that parts of her life are going to be public, it’s what you sign up for when you enter into the public eye. But she has realised over the years of her active career that she “has got control over what she shares”.

Zendaya admitted that she’s not afraid to just “exist” anymore, something that was a regular occurrence for her at the height of her fame when Spiderman and Euphoria launched her career into the stratosphere. While she isn’t afraid anymore she also wants to protect her relationship with Tom.

While stepping onto the cover for The September issue of Elle US, Zedaya gave some rare insight into her relationship with Spidey 3.0 himself.

She said: “Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public. I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share.”

She continued adding: “It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can’t hide. That’s not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now.”

The pair first met on the set of Spiderman where they starred opposite one another. They later appeared together on Lip Sync Battle in 2017. Tom performed an iconic lip sync battle to Rihanna’s Umbrella and Zendaya performed as Bruno Mars.
