What’s With All The Contraband On I’m A Celeb These Days?
They're all at it
I’m A Celeb kicked off about a week and a half ago. And since then a few things have happened.
Vogue Williams entered the jungle. A snake was in Ruby Wax’s light. Everyone snuck some contraband in, apparently.
Not one but two contestants on this year’s series have already been caught in the jungle with banned items.
Former footballer Alex Scott snuck in some salt into the camp, while Eastenders’ Shona McGarty brought an air freshener in the dunny.
Yes, really.
Alex was caught after she was cooking crocodile feet with Jack, and the group seemed to enjoy their meal more than usual.
“Jack, you have fun with the crocodile toes and just give me the mushrooms, the potatoes, the kale, the veg, the rice,” she said. “I can get a little stir fry thing going on and add some flavours in. I know people are going to be happy with that.”
Both gals were caught out by I’m A Celeb producers this week and forced to surrender their items, threatened with the loss of one star at dinner.
A source told LADBible that further punishment would be carried out if all contraband wasn’t surrendered.

“Campmates will then be told there’s a contraband amnesty and they have an opportunity to surrender all contraband without further punishment. Once the camp owns up, dinner will then be delivered,” they said.
This isn’t the first time in recent years that celebs have snuck forbidden items into the camp. Just last year, Coleen Rooney also brought salt into camp and was forced to surrender it.
The year before, Gillian McKeith snuck garlic, sea salt, tumeric, sage, rosemary, basil, oregano, cinnamon and dill in tied condoms inside her underwear, in the all star version of the series in South Africa.
Fair play to her, honestly.
