Beyoncé Totally Trolled Her Fans With A Jay-Z Reference During Last Night’s Concert
The Formation World Tour kicked off in Miami and the world could not COPE.
Just four days after sending her fandom into meltdown mode with the launch of her visual album Lemonade, Beyoncé took to the stage in Miami last night to kick off her Formation world tour.
Speculation about her husband Jay-Z’s rumoured infidelity – which she references repeatedly throughout Lemonade – has been rife over the past few days, but Bey barely referenced it last night.
Instead, she went to the other extreme, dedicating a rendition of Halo to her “beautiful husband” and telling him “I love you so much” as he watched from the audience.
While she didn’t explicitly discuss her marriage problems during the show, she did tell the audience that All Night was her “favourite song on the album, with Billboard‘s reviewer noting that she placed particular emphasis on the line “Found the truth beneath your lies and true love never has to hide.”
Jay-Z seemed to get off the hook last night, but the now-infamous “Becky with the good hair did get a mention”, as Beyoncé launched into Sorry straight after her opening number, Formation.

Since Sunday, both designer Rachel Roy and singer Rita Ora have made it clear that they are not the “Becky” of Bey’s album, with one source yesterday claiming that “Becky” was in fact “many girls.”
The mystery continues…
