6 Fashion Trends Set To Be Huge In 2026

As we come to the end of the year, we’re starting to get a sense of what sort of fashion trends we’re probably going to be seeing in 2026.

Some of these have already been popping off in the last few months, while others might seem totally outlandish, but we’re placing bets that you’ll be seeing these trends everywhere next year. 

1. Wedges

This is the trend that’s already become hugely popular over the internet, but it looks like wedged shoes are only getting bigger. Designers like Isabel Marant took wedged boots, a shoe that was up until now left in the last decade, and made them cool again. Now, you’ll find fashion gurus sporting wedged boots, wedged pumps and even wedged sneakers.

2. Funky glasses

It looks like statement glasses are only going to get bigger and bigger in the coming years. It’s predicted that we’ll have crazier colours and shapes, combining the bold eighties’ look that spectacles used to have with new and more experimental looks. Let’s hope our prescriptions don’t get any worse though!

3. Fringes and tassels

2026 might see a return to that early 2010s Tumblr bohemian era that we all know and love. Expect to see tassels and cool fringe on everything, from bags and purses to boots and jackets.

It’s predicted that next year we’ll see more bright block colours, combined together in cool new ways. Think bright yellow and chocolate brown, or green and blue, except it actually works. Just trust us!

5. Commander/military jackets

With a twist! Recently, Adidas released a line of jackets to celebrate the Chinese New Year, and the button style looks very similar to those on commander style jackets. Judging by the raging success of this jacket line, it looks like next year we might become a lot more brave when it comes to our jackets, and the commando might just make a return.
