Greg revealed on the Late Late Show last January that he had split from long term girlfriend influencer Kate Hutchins. The pair kept their relationship out of the limelight as they felt that was the only way to have a genuine relationship without the public weighing in on them.
In a heartbreaking turn of events it wasn’t meant to be for them and they both re-entered the singles market at the beginning of 2022.
He stated: “I was with a lovely girl for the last two years and we had some great times together, but unfortunately we weren’t on the same page and didn’t want the same things out of life”.

Greg sparked romance rumours with podcaster and 2FM presenter Doireann Garrihy after appearing on her podcaster late last year. After the episode aired many listeners took to social media asking if the friends were a couple because their chemistry was insane one even said they would make a great couple.
Greg opened up about the difficult times he faced after winning Love Island and leaving the villa. He opened up the conversation surrounding mens mental health something that is greatly needed, and spoke about his own struggles even mentioning the exact moment he decided he was going to be brave and accept the help he knew he needed.
Recalling the exact moment he said: “I remember one time I was back in Dublin and I was driving around and it got really, really bad. I was behind the wheel of the car and I was like, ‘alright this is going one of two ways’. I don’t want to get too dark on the podcast but it was basically a decision of, alright, either this is all over, or bring yourself to the doctor right now.”
