Jamie Laing And Sophie Habboo Have An Unexpected Start To Their Honeymoon

Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo jetted off to enjoy a fabulous honeymoon abroad yesterday but sadly only made it as far as Amsterdam before their dream trip took a turn…

The pair were forced to return to London after long delays caused them to miss their connecting flight in Amsterdam. They then had to reroute and add a further three flights to their itinerary – London to Colombia, Colombia to Panama and finally Panama to their final destination.

Jamie took to Instagram to express his frustration saying: “This is WILD… We’re flying on our Honeymoon to South America, connecting flight in Amsterdam. KLM are delayed but we still have time to make our flight. Without warning they take us off the connecting flight…”

The Candy Kittens founder continued saying: “So we now have to fly back to London, then fly to Colombia, then fly to Panama and then fly to our Honeymoon destination. This is a TOTAL F*CK-UP THANKS @KLM.”

Jamie was keeping his followers updated posting updates to his Instagram stories.

He revealed that although they had finally made it onto their flight to Colombia… their bags had not as they were in fact still in Amsterdam.

The Made in Chelsea star wondered if they were being pranked with everything that was going wrong.

In a subsequent update the Strictly Come Dancing alum revealed they were on their connecting flight to Panama from Colombia with no idea whether or not their luggage was on board the plane.

Sophie and Jamie’s official wedding was last month in Chelsea. They were seen walking out of the Kensington courthouse looking as happy as ever.

They then proceeded to have a second wedding where they renewed their vows at a ceremony in Spain last week.

Sophie and Jamie made their relationship official back in 2019 and tied the knot in front of their friends in a lavish ceremony in Spain, surrounded by all their TV friends.

Made In Chelsea stars Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor, as well as Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott, and Jamie’s best pals Spencer Matthews and Oliver Proudlock were all in attendance.
