Jennifer Lawrence ‘Totally Open’ To Taking Up Her Role As Katniss Again

Hunger Games fans unite!

It seems we can get the fandom back together because Katniss Everdeen herself has said she’d “100 percent” come back to don her mockingjay outfit once more.

Jennifer Lawrence is currently promoting her new movie No Hard Feelings, During the press interviews one of the many questions thrown her way was ‘Would you be open to playing Katniss again?’

And well, her reply is the best we could’ve ever hoped for from the grammy winning actress. She told Variety: “Oh, my God – totally!”

Surprisingly that’s not just her attempting to appease fans and give a non committal grunt of acknowledgement no she actually added: “If Katniss could ever come back into my life, 100 percent.”

While The Hunger Games creators have no plans of returning the beloved Katniss to our screens just yet, they are in the midst of expanding the franchise to include a new movie entitled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

The movie based off of Suzanne Collins’ 2020 novel of the same name follows the life of a young and very hot Coriolanus Snow when he is a mentor to the District 12 competitors during the 10th annual Hunger Games.

This brand new movie in the Hunger Games franchise, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is set to hit cinemas on November 17th 2023.
