Kristin Davis Reveals She Has No Intention Of Ever Getting Married

It seems all is not what we believe!

Kristin Davis recently opened up about her life and what could be considered a key difference between her and her onscreen character Charlotte York.

During an interview with The Home Edit founders Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin on their podcast, Best Friend Energy, Kristin said: “We have very different lifestyles, you know?”

Continuing she said: “I’m not married, I have never been married. It’s not my thing.”

Adding: “I was never focused on it. It was never a goal, let’s say.”

This may come as a shock considering the Charlotte we know and love, an absolute hopeless romantic if we ever saw one. While her first marriage didn’t work out to Dr. Trey MacDougal she ultimately found the love she was looking for in her divorce lawyer, Mr Harry Goldenblatt.

Chatting about the wedding scenes Kristin revealed just how difficult they were to film.

She said: “That took some acting, let me tell you.”

She later revealed that it was making the scenes come across as natural as possible to the audience that she found ridiculously challenging. “I would stress out on those days,” she confessed, “where I would have a paragraph on a page of all…the rules and the marriage. And oh my god, I would just be like, ‘How am I going to do this and make it real and believable?”

The mum of two mentions that one of her favourite scenes she’s filmed was her first wedding to Trey.

“I loved my first wedding,” she shared. “I’m not really a wedding girl but, you know, Charlotte loved it so I loved it.”

Getting to try on Vera Wang wedding gowns also seemed to stick in Kristin’s mind as a memorable moment as she said: “I must have tried on 35 Vera Wang dresses. The poof one won and it was just like such a weird thing because it’s not my thing at all. Like I would never wear that dress if I did get married.”
